My best memory was when Mr. Hesson gave Julie permission to walk outside of the classroom to get a drink out of the water fountain. While getting a drink, the 5 minute bell rang and Mr. Hesson told Julie she was tardy and to go to the office. She argued with him and he gave her pages to write. I piped up and told him it wasn't fair and he gave me pages to write. Well, needless to say, we stretched words out across each line of the paper and he would not accept them and Julie and I had to go to the office and write pages during his class until we got them done. Mr. Cameron and Mr. Jones saw us for a few days in the office. This is just one of the few times we got into trouble.
